Here is a poptacular mashup that I made for your listening pleasures. I understand that Tik Tok has been more or less mashed to death but one more couldn’t hurt. Two songs that are in the same key and that just sound right together. This one mashes up Madonna with the up and coming artist Ke$ha. I know I already made one with her but this one features her voice and not the instrumental. Enjoy Y’all.

New one from DJ Fergie Ferg. The Rihanna song just did not have enough power behind it to make me dance. Therefore I mashed with dance kings MSTRKRFT. It turned out pretty good, with some slight time stretching issues in the chorus. Enjoy people!

Here you go ladies and gentleman with another DJ Fergie Ferg Album. This is different from my past two albums but similar to my first. The theme of this album is to take those hard hitting Lil Wayne songs and mash them up with some indie rock music. I’ll be honest not all of these songs are meant for partying, but give it a listen and I guarantee you will enjoy this. As some of you know Lil’ Wayne is coming out with a rock album in December, therefore this mashup album is coming at a perfect time. Alright so it has been way too long since I have posted anything, I have been busy playing a lot of live shows recently, which has been fun because it allows me to practice my live game.

Anyways, here is a new mashup, one that is a little different for me. This maybe my first electro mashup, but it will not be my last because I had a lot of fun making this one. This is defintely going to make some people mad by mashing Top 40 with electro. DGAF. This is a guarenteed crowd banger. It takes the stylings of Deadmau5, pronounced Dead Mouse for those unfamiliar, and mashes it with the America’s Sweetheart Taylor Swift. So without further or due here it is….

So some of you may know that I post my mashups to the the mashup forum GYBO at www.gybo5.com. Anyways, they are holding a contest there for the best battle weapon. I have yet to enter a contest at the time and thought this contest was for me.

Here is a description of the challenge…“You meekly step up to the decks. You’re still undecided as to what your first tune is going to be. You slip it on, and nobody even notices you’re DJing, or knows who the hell you are…

Yup, that’s me and Ziggy Marley.

Story time… Back on Februray 26th, I got an email from Ziggy Marley’s website manager who said that Ziggy Marley had heard my Ziggy vs. Rihanna mashup and that she, the website manager, wanted to put it on ziggymarley.com. This was such a cool email to receive I had never thought anything would happen like this. So after going back and forth many times, she informed that she would not be able to put it on the website because of a new album that he had coming out. So on the last email exchanged I just thought I would throw out “You know if Ziggy is ever in town, maybe we can set up a meet and greet.” She was polite and said i’ll see what I can do. Fast forward to june, I learn that Ziggy has a concert and so I decide to email her to see if If can get anything going. Within two days she informs me that she got me tickets and a meet and greet. So I got third row tickets and got to go backstage to meet Ziggy Marley. We talked for a little while, and he even knew who I was, and he told me that he liked my work. Needless to say one of the coolest experiences of my life. I’ve been listening to Ziggy Marley since I was in second grade. It was unbelievable.

Here is what I am claiming as my best single mashup ever. I have spent copious amounts of hours on this one and it has really paid off. I believe this has some great potential to be big. The chorus will blow you away. The idea came to me while I was riding in my car one day and just couldn’t help singing the words of “We Fly High” to “Free Fallin’” I also made a video for this one so please help spread this, I would like to see this video and mashup go viral, like all those other wacky videos on YouTube. My Most Awkward Years

Here is the long awaited album release of DJ Fergie Ferg. The album is title “My Most Awkward Years.” It is a celebration of what I consider the most awkward years of my life: Middle School. So that means all of the 90+ samples come from songs that came out between the years 1999-20002. Thats right some of the most ridiculous songs to ever hit the airwaves will once again have you saying I can’t believe that I used to listen to Creed, or what was I thinking when I listened to Shaggy back in the day. Mad props go out to my cousin Kevin Rollinson for making this amazing cover, if you guys don’t get it that hand motion means awkward turtle. Make sure to play this as a gapless album, and enjoy ladies and gentleman.

To my dear fans I want to apologize for the lack of updates, it has been nearly a month since my last post. However, I come bearing great news. I have a new album ready for your listening pleasure. But first I need to tease you guys. I exclusively released a track from the album over at edu[MUSIC]ation.

The album is titled “My Most Awkward Years” in celebration of my middle school ages. So that means all 90 samples come from the years 1999-2002. This album is a great way to remember the songs that you loved but know have forgotten about, like you’ve never heard them before.

The anticipated album from DJ Fergie Ferg is finally here! “My Brain Your Beats” is the first time I have released an album of this magnitude and I know that you guys will enjoy this one. If you had missed out on the previous posts kind of explaining the album then I will let you know what it is now. It is is a style that has become popular due mostly in part thanks to Girl Talk. Using songs as samples in a mashtacular format. There are over 170 songs mashed together in the masterpiece, and they all flow together as one. As far as the title of the album goes I believe its is pretty self explanatory in the fact that I took other peoples beats and mixed them with my brains to make a ridiculous piece of work. Note: This will playback best in a gapless album style, also a complete list of samples is included as a word document
