Here is a very cool mashup of the Arctic Monkeys and Christina Aguilara. I am going to let it speak for itself, so just listen to it.
Ingredients: Arctic Monkeys - Balaclava Christina Aguilara - What A Girl Wants
Edit: So the MP3 that I have of the Arctic Monkeys was mislabeled and the song is not called Balaclava. Also after listening to it a couple times after releasing it, I noticed that they were out of sync, so give me a couple days and I will rename this and put out a tweaked version.

So I am pretty sure that this is my first rock vs rock mashup. It is a fun track and very danceable if you feel the need to do so. Its pretty simple but very cool.

I friend of mine asked me if I had heard of a Elton John vs. Jay Z mashup. I was like fool I made that one. So, I realize some of you have not been following me that long, so I want to make sure that you get the stuff that I posted on my old blog. A wide range of stuff, but i’ll be honest it is not as good as my most recent stuff. (I mean c’mon you gotta start somewhere). Without further or due.

The anticipated album from DJ Fergie Ferg is finally here! “My Brain Your Beats” is the first time I have released an album of this magnitude and I know that you guys will enjoy this one. If you had missed out on the previous posts kind of explaining the album then I will let you know what it is now. It is is a style that has become popular due mostly in part thanks to Girl Talk. Using songs as samples in a mashtacular format. There are over 170 songs mashed together in the masterpiece, and they all flow together as one. As far as the title of the album goes I believe its is pretty self explanatory in the fact that I took other peoples beats and mixed them with my brains to make a ridiculous piece of work. Note: This will playback best in a gapless album style, also a complete list of samples is included as a word document
I am here with an exciting 5 exciting announcements!!!
1. First and foremost, as some of you may have noticed. You can now reach my website by going to http://www.djfergieferg.com. You don’t have to add the .tumblr.com part anymore. This will be easier for you guys to remember!

The release date for the album is going to be Tuesday February, 10th 2009. So that means you only have to wait a couple more days to listen to the album in its entirety.
4. The album has over 170 different samples, which means that I used over 170 songs in this hour long mashup. The official running time will be about 60 minutes and 45 seconds. Now time for something exciting. I am going to leak to you guys the first 4 minutes of the mashtacular album “My Brains Your Beats.”
5. I am going to release the album in two different formats. One version just one long continuous track, and the other version will be split up into tracks, all with individual names.

To my dear fans,
I would like to sincerely apologize for the lack of updates, I have had a very busy past month (traveling internationally, and what not). However, please do not be sad. I am going to come back with a huge new album. An I will leak some information to you guys right now and will continue to about the theme among other information about this album as time goes along. So for the first bit of information that I will share with you. This album is going to be in a long mix format so that it flows all the way through and will be similar to a Girl Talk or EASTEREGG style album. Although not near the level they are at, it is definitely something to look forward to. I am planning on sampling hundreds of songs and the album should be over an hour long. So get excited!!!
In other news my cousin Kevin is an amazing artist as well as graphic artist and made some amazing album covers for my songs. I have been meaning to post these for a long time. But once again MAJOR PROPS TO KEVIN. THESE ARE AMAZING!

So here is my second album ever, and I am very excited about this one. I call it “Cliche Christmas: Mowtown vs. 2008” The premise behind this album was to take Christmas songs that we all love and mash them up with some of the most cliche songs of the year 2008. Its a great way celebrate Christmas as well as the year 2008. So I hope you guys enjoy this one
Tracklist: 1. A Milli is Coming to Town - Jackson 5 vs. Lil Wayne 2. Rudolph! Touch My Body - Temptations vs. Mariah Carey 3. Silent Dance - Temptations vs. Lady Gaga 4. Bleeding Bells - Smokey Robinson vs. Leona Lewis 5. I Saw Mommy Kissing Coldplay - Jackson 5 vs. Coldplay
Here is a pretty cool one. I think these two songs just flow so well together, so I had to do it. I know that an Umbrella mashup is so 2007, haha, but it just felt right. Enjoy this one!
Ingredients Ziggy Marley - True to Myself Rihanna - Umbrella
Alright so here is a mashup from up and coming rapper KiD CuDi. His most famous song is Day N Night. So I figured why not mashup with an ultimate 80s song Sunglasses at night by Corey hart. It creates a nice funky beat for CuDi to rap on. Hope you guys enjoy it!!
